Perplexity
AI answer engine that searches the web and cites sources. Good for doc, API and error lookups.
Is Perplexity free?
Near-unlimited basic searches on a model Perplexity picks for you, plus a few Pro Searches per day, limited file uploads and search history.
The catch
You can't choose the model, the daily Pro Searches run out fast, and Deep Research and uploads are tightly capped.
