Gemini Notebook
Add your own notes, PDFs or videos, and it answers using only those, with links to the exact spot.
Is Gemini Notebook free?
The free plan allows 100 notebooks and 50 sources per notebook. Chat, Audio Overviews and other features run on a usage meter that refreshes every 5 hours, up to a weekly limit Google does not publish.
The catch
Heavy use in one sitting, like making many audio or video summaries, can hit the weekly limit, and Google does not publish what that limit is. Some features are limited to users over 18.

Formerly called NotebookLM: Google renamed it Gemini Notebook in July 2026. You can see how much of your weekly limit is left under Settings > Usage, and the report and flashcards made automatically when you first add sources do not count toward your limits.
Free plans change often. Confirm the current limits on Gemini Notebook's own pricing page before you rely on them.
